About
Houses

The house system at Unity College provides an opportunity for competition and collaboration and further develops the vertical way in which students are able to work together across year groups.

At Unity, we have a firm belief in the power of developing leadership qualities among students and the house system provides opportunities for student leaders at various levels to develop their skills and gain invaluable experience. To support this, we have several members of staff with specific Student Leadership responsibilities.

All members of the Unity College community belong to one of four houses. Each house contains students from every year group and has its own student leaders.

Within the house structure, Personal Development Tutors and House Leaders will have responsibility for encouraging participation and raising achievement for all.
