As part of their learning, students have talked about different traditions and learnt key vocabulary linked to the topic. For their recent homework task, students completed an independent research task and entered their homework into the ‘Year 7 MFL Culture competition’. We then headed back to Calais to catch the shuttle. After an uneventful journey we arrived early at Gillingham for a lunch break and a chance to go ice skating.  Both experienced and novice skaters enjoyed themselves on the ice. We then had the long trek home through Friday afternoon rush hour.  All were kept entertained for a while watching The Greatest Showman. We arrived safely back at school a bit later than
