Admissions 2022

Welcome To Unity College

Last updated Monday 4 October 2021 (8:30 am)

Following advice from Public Health Lancashire regarding the rise in Covid-19 cases locally in Burnley, I made the difficult decision to not have Open Evenings on site this year.

Our website is therefore probably your first introduction to Unity College.

This section of the website is to give year 6 students and their families an insight into life at Unity College. I hope that the information in this section, and the rest of the website, will help families get a better understanding about Unity College to help them to decide about their choice of secondary school for their child for September 2022.

Have a look at the virtual tour of our college to see our amazing building. Follow the arrows and don’t forget to go outside via the main entrance and look at our outside facilities.

Please have a look at these 3 videos to give you lots of information about Unity College.

Admissions Policy 2022-2023

Please take time to read our Admissions Policy (including the supplementary admission form) and check the geographical priority area map. The geographical priority areas for Unity College changed this year. Children who live in our OUTER GEOGRAPHICAL priority areas will get priority for a place at Unity College. The OUTER geographical areas includes the civil parishes of Briercliffe, Worsthorne with Hurstwood, Cliviger and Habergham Eaves.
