Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional funding provided by the Department for Education to enhance the education of our most socio-economically deprived students, with the intent of closing the attainment gap of students who are vulnerable to possible underachievement.   The allocation of funding is based upon the number of students entitled to free school meals within the last six years and children in care that attend the College in Years 7-11.  There is also additional Pupil Premium funding (known as the Service Premium) for any student who has, or has had within the last four years, a parent in the armed forces.

All schools are required to report annually on the amount of funding received and how this is being used.
