We have decided to take part in a couple of different charity collections in the run up to Christmas.   For hundreds of families and individuals in our local community, the financial burden of Covid-19 has caused an unparalleled challenge.   Please can staff and students support us by donating any new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present this year.  The gifts will then be distributed to those in need in our local community.  This year more than ever, a gift from you could bring joy to a local child and help make their Christmas.

Also, alongside this appeal from Burnley Together we have decided to also collect food for Burnley community kitchen (food bank).  Each morning for two weeks (30th November – 14th December) when the students enter college through their designated entrance, we are going to have big bags for students to put either the food they bring or the presents – there will be the same at the signing in desk for staff.

Below are some ideas of both presents and food that can be collected 🙂 please promote this with all students.
