The European Day of Languages was a great success and was enjoyed by all who took part. Students were invited to come and play a selection of traditional French games, such as ring toss and pin the beret on Mademoiselle Lord. For the price of fifty pence, students received a raffle ticket, entrance into the room and the chance to take part in our activities. Students could also try a taste of Spain for just twenty pence and these caramel waffles went down a treat. A talented group of Year 10 MFL students helped to make the event a success and supported KS3 students as they tried to win further raffle tickets at each of the activity stations. Traditional French music added to the ambiance in the MFL room and the atmosphere in UB9 was wonderful. Overall, the event was a huge success and we are already looking forward to hosting our next MFL event.
