On Friday 27th April, 12 year 10 students toured the University of Manchester.

We met with current maths, medicine and biotechnology students and asked them about what university was really like.
We were surprised about the range of courses on offer, the huge number of students and how many different buildings there were. At the University of Manchester there is a quidditch team! There are also lots of other clubs and societies. We also found out about student finance and loans, although the amount of debt you graduate with is huge, we found out that we only have to pay it back after we have graduated.

After visiting the university, some of us have decided that we might like to go too!
