Everyone was up and packed in time for an early breakfast at 7:30am. The coach was loaded and the hotel cleaned ahead of our planned departure time. We then headed back to Calais to catch the shuttle.
After an uneventful journey we arrived early at Gillingham for a lunch break and a chance to go ice skating. Both experienced and novice skaters enjoyed themselves on the ice.
We then had the long trek home through Friday afternoon rush hour. All were kept entertained for a while watching The Greatest Showman. We arrived safely back at school a bit later than planned.
All are now enjoying a weekend’s rest ahead of our return concert on Tuesday evening (15th October) at 7pm.
