On Tuesday 3rd December, Unity College U16s (year 10 and 11s) participated in a Lancashire Cup football game against Our Lady and St John, Blackburn. Unity won 4-0 and all girls played extremely well together. Sophie Riley scored 2 goals, one from a corner and one from open play and Jaiden Hutchinson and Nellie Roberts also score 1 a piece. Kaitlyn Gallery played extremely well and got players player of the match. Demi-Lee Guest did fantastic in goal and managed to save some amazing shots on target.
Each player who participated in the game gave 100%. Well done girls. The players were Lucy Day, Kaitlyn Gallery, Nellie Roberts, Demi Lee Guest, Ashleigh Burnop, Sophie riley, Jessica Moore, Maddison Larnach, Jaiden Hutchinson, Abbie Lawless, Maddison Fisher and Caitlin Bourke. We are now through to the next round of the Lancashire Cup.
